Opened on February 29, 2008, Terminal 3 (T3) at Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK) was once the world’s largest airport terminal complex, covering 986,000 m². It is divided into three concourses — T3C, T3D, and T3E.
- T3C: Check-in for both domestic and international passengers; gates for domestic flights (excluding Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan).
- T3D: Domestic gates for Air China flights.
- T3E: All international flights, including Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan.
A 2 km automated people mover connects T3C and T3E via T3D, with a 2–5 minute travel time.
T3 is 6.4 km southeast of T1 and T2, with free shuttle buses between T2 and T3.
